Meet 2022 EHF Scholarship recipient, Ani Sinanyan.
Ani Sinanyan, a talented young violinist, began her musical journey at age 6 in a family of musicians. A prizewinner of many competitions, Ani performed at Carnegie Weill Recital Hall in New York City at age 9 as a finalist of the Youth Talent Festival. In 2018, she served as principal second violin at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra Institution at Whistler under Bramwell Tovey.
As a member of the American Youth Symphony, Ani has collaborated with renowned composers and performers like Sarah Chang and David Newman. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Ilya Kaler and Olga Dubossarskaya Kaler. Ani also performs with her family’s ensemble, Trio SynThesis.
